The National Sports Museum
The National Sports Museum celebrates the contribution that sport has made within the development of our uniquely Australian culture.
The achievements of Australian sportsmen and women at all levels are showcased within interactive exhibitions including sport artefacts. Their stories and imagery represent all sports played within Australia.
The National Sports Museum is a national focal point for achievements and values in sport, in particular the notion that the pursuit of excellence at all levels is consistent with a commitment to fair play - a philosophy that has contributed to the evolution of our beliefs and culture.
Located on two levels of the Olympic Stand at the MCG, the National Sports Museum displays more than 2500 items from Australia's rich sporting history.
Hours of Admission:
The National Sports Museum opens from 10.00am – 5.00pm daily (except Christmas Day and Good Friday), with last admission at 4.00pm. We recommend you allocate at least 90 minutes to fully experience the National Sports Museum.

Etihad Stadium Tours
Visit the AFL players' change rooms, the players/coaches' briefing room, the coaches' box, experience the feel of walking up the AFL umpires' tunnel and much more.
Visit the Media Centre - the venue for what's now known as the fifth quarter - where the coaches go 'head-to-head' at the conclusion of an AFL match with the media. At the same time inspect the room, which also doubles as the AFL Tribunal.

Etihad Stadium tour, which take approximately one hour and includes a tour guide, depart at 11am, 1pm and 3pm Monday to Friday from the Customer Service Centre on the external apron opposite Gates 2 and 3.
